Commencing in 2006 I operated my own Personal Training Franchise for 12 months within Fitness First Knox. In August 2007 I contracted to Wyn Training Solutions as a qualified lecturer for their Personal Training courses. I have 18 years dance experience and I love mountain bike riding and body building.  After relocating to Phillip Island in March 2008, I commenced running personal training sessions within Health on Course, built a definitive relationship with many skilled allied health professionals and have an extensive referral network.
In January 2009, Hot & Healthy Personal Training made the giant leap to its own brand new studio with a fully equipped fitness facility, with an influx of clients I was able to offer two local residents personal training careers. 
In January 2010 Rachael Millar joined us from client to trainer and Dylan Holland impressed me whilst completing work experience with me so I approached him to join the team.  With the expansion of operating hours, clients and facilities I have recently introduced Spin classes, TRX suspension trainers and another shipment of exercise equipment arrived in November 2010.
In January 2011, Marcus Salton joined the team from client to trainer and has blown all our expectations with his killer style and fitness training techniques.
This year we will see a shift in focus between the trainer and clients, matching up new clients with trainers based on their fitness goals.  The successful addition of Les Mills SH'BAM classes in July 2011 has allowed me to expand our cardio classes and provide another service. 
Natalie Kohler has recently joined our Team and has established herself with a client base during the day catering to female fitness, returning to exercise post baby mums and those working flexible hours.  I am now looking forward to the fourth trainer joining our Team later this year and provide me with a little work/home life flexibility.
 
My passion for fitness is Prenatal & Postnatal Fitness (I worked through my second and third pregnancies as a Personal Trainer and have a thorough understanding of women’s fitness).
Since establishing Hot & Healthy Personal Training in 2006 I have been committed to ensure my clients have fun, get healthy and look hot!

I started training with Hot & Healthy in August 2008, and after 12 months I had gone from doing little more than walking to running a half marathon! In October 2010, I decided to use my knowledge in
progressive training by joining the Hot & Healthy team as a Personal Trainer apprentice. I obtained my certificate in Feburary 2011 and have since been training pairs and groups at the beginner and experienced level. 
I am a firm believer in functional training, which incorporates every-day movement to strengthen the body.  This type of training enhances our ability to live a lone, enjoyable and pain-free life.  Coming from a competitive family of cyclists and have more recently delved in competitive running and swimming, I have a strong passion for specific sports training.

I started training at Hot & Healthy at the start of 2010 keen to regain my fitness and return to regular exercise post having children. The ‘Yummy Mummy’ sessions, where mums of young children can bring the kids, facilitated my return to pre-mummy fitness and offered variety and motivation superior to working out at the gym. Having always been active; playing sport throughout school and an avid gym member and jogger most of my adult life, and knowing how much better I feel both physically and mentally when fit and healthy, I decided I wanted to assist others to discover the benefits of regular exercise and healthy eating, so after 12 months of training at Hot and Healthy I set out to get qualified and started working as a trainer at Hot and Healthy in August 2011, conducting Yummy Mummy and PT sessions.

The body is an amazing and resilient machine however there is only so much misuse and neglect it can tolerate before its basic functionality begins to fail. I am passionate about helping others realise the benefits, both physically and mentally, of a regular exercise program, a healthy diet and incorporating more incidental activity into their daily lives and hopefully facilitate their ability to achieve their goals, whether it be to climb a flight of stairs without getting puffed, being able to keep up with the kids or run a marathon.
